I was finally able to switch to insurance that will cover my visits here in Florida. It is not the greatest but it’s something. I won’t go in to boring insurance details, but the gist is that my delivery will be more expensive in order to get prenatal care in Florida covered. (Since I technically live in Virginia, my previous HMO would not cover any visits in Florida.)
My co-pay today of $40 should cover all standard visits until I move back in May and switch doctors. My normal OB-Gyn says I have to come back at 34 weeks, which is in the beginning of May.
