Yesterday we did a 5K. Notice I didn’t say ran a 5k.

My almost-17-year-old daughter is twenty million times a better person than I will ever be. We originally suggested that we go to the Sweetlife Music Festival. You know, with bands and food and young people and stuff that most teenagers enjoy. EVERY TEENAGE GIRL ON THE PLANET LIKES THE 1975. But she was like, ‘sounds fun, fam, but let’s give the money to homeless kids instead and also let’s get up really early and walk really far to give it to them.’

Ok, Teenager. I love you. Also, JEEZ BE MORE PERFECT.

Babystar didn’t cost anything to register, but her sweet Robin costume was $11.02.
