I am being slowly erranded to death.
The Girls and I stopped at Babies R Us one day after school pick up to test drive some strollers. (OMG there are so many strollers!) While there, I picked up some more ‘baby snacks’. She didn’t really like the others, so maybe these will have more flavor. And I restocked our pouch supply. Those pouches sure are handy for outings. I’ve read that you can make your own with reusable pouches but wouldn’t those need to be refrigerated? Does anyone make them? Please tell me all about it.
Another day I went to Target for I-don’t-even-know-what and grabbed some pouches there because I forgot that I already bought some because I am a sleep deprived person.
(I chose the Target pouches looking only at flavors with no attention to prices because Babystar was squirmy. It is only now while looking at the receipt that I see how sporadic they are priced: $1.67, $1.59, $1.39, $1.54, $1.67. This sample size works out to 0.41368 per ounce. I don’t know why I am so obsessed with the price of pouch food.)
I also bought Cling Wrap which I mostly use when freezing her food cubes. $4.99. Plus the $3.99 for the smaller Cling Wrap that I already used. I didn’t know it was for Babystar’s food when I bought it. Same goes for the gallon size Ziploc bags. I use them all for Babystar’s food. $4.99 x 2.
Hilariously, after buying all this Pouch Food, the Girls and I took an impromptu trip to Chik-Fil-A and Busy Bees after school yesterday and I had to pop into Target next door to buy a pouch for Babystar because I still haven’t learned to pack one in the diaper bag for just in case. Maybe now I will remember. I also bought two sun hats for Babystar because they were on clearance and I am weak.
I really want to stay home today. I can’t. But I want to.
